1. Overview
Autoposter is a private content scheduling application that allows an authorized operator to manage and publish original content to Pinterest through the official Pinterest API.
2. Information processed
When Pinterest is connected to Autoposter, the application may process:
- Pinterest OAuth access and refresh tokens;
- Pinterest account and board identifiers returned by the Pinterest API;
- Pin publishing data, including titles, descriptions, links and selected boards;
- images or other media uploaded by the operator for publication;
- publishing status, schedule information and API error information required to operate the queue.
3. Information not collected
Autoposter does not collect or store Pinterest passwords. It does not request Pinterest session cookies and does not emulate Pinterest login. Pinterest authorization is performed through the official OAuth flow.
4. How information is used
The information above is used only to:
- authenticate authorized Pinterest API requests;
- retrieve boards available to the authorized account;
- create and manage Pins requested by the operator;
- maintain the publishing queue and retry failed API requests when appropriate;
- maintain the security and operation of the application.
5. Storage
OAuth tokens, account configuration and publishing queue information are stored in the application's database on infrastructure controlled by the application operator. Uploaded media required for scheduled publication may also be stored on that infrastructure.
6. Sharing
Information is transmitted to Pinterest only as necessary to provide the Pinterest integration requested by the authorized operator. Autoposter does not sell personal information or provide Pinterest authorization tokens to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
7. Data retention and deletion
Data is retained only for as long as it is required to operate the application, maintain the publishing queue, or satisfy applicable legal requirements. The operator can remove connected account information and stored publishing data from the application. Pinterest access may also be revoked from the applicable Pinterest account settings.
8. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored credentials and account data, including restricting access to application configuration and OAuth tokens. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Third-party services
Pinterest services are governed by Pinterest's own terms and privacy practices. Autoposter's use of Pinterest data is limited to the functionality described in this policy and to permissions granted by the authorized user.
10. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's functionality or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
11. Contact
